Feature Friday- Paper Coterie

Some of you may already know I have a weakness for all things pretty and paper. So a few weeks ago when I won a gorgeous giveaway on Beautiful Hello Blog and I was so excited!

The giveaway was for creating your own photo book with Paper Coterie! After having a little snoop around their website I was in love! Everything is just gorgeous, there are so many fab designs to choose from and it took me a while but I finally decided on making a photo book with all my Instagram shots.

Their website was so fun and easy to use, it allows you to upload all your photos and try out different designs and layouts till you find one that’s perfect.

My little book arrived the other day and I am so impressed! The quality is fantastic and I would highly recommend checking out Paper Coterie!

April Instagram Recap!

Well to be honest I am glad April has been and gone because it wasn’t the best month for me. I turned 30 years old and instead of having a party everything had to be cancelled at the last minute because I ended up in hospital! So not the best start to turning the big 30 but on a more positive note I have some fun things to look forward too in the coming months so I can hopefully put these last few weeks behind me and move on! This month my baby turned 4 years old! I don’t know where the last 4 years have gone but I guess she’s not really a baby anymore! March was actually full of birthdays for us, most weekends were spent eating cake and party food but we did manage to squeeze in a weekend away down in beautiful Pauanui. Here’s the pics! xoxo

February Instagram Recap!

Well February has been a fun month for us, with lots of trips to the beach while the weather is still so good! We also had our friends visiting from Australia for a week which was just awesome and Miss K got to catch up with one of her best friends!

There has also been a bit on in Auckland this month, we took Miss K to check out the speedway racing one weekend and on Friday evening we had a great night with my family checking out the Auckland Lantern Festival!

Hi guys! Well we are still in the middle of summer over here in New Zealand and have been having some great weather. December Instagram Recap!

Well this months Instagram recap does seem to have a bit of a Christmas theme to it. December is definitely my most favourite time of year and we have had an awesome month spent with family and friends. Just the other day we also took a trip out to the SPCA animal shelter and picked up “Maddie” who we fell in love with the moment we saw her! I’m so happy we have been able to give her a new home. Wrapped In Christmas Lights

This year for our Christmas cards I thought we would try the “Wrapped In Christmas Lights” idea. I did wonder if Miss K would actually stand there wrapped in lights for me but luckily she thought it was good fun and went with the idea.

I took a whole lot of photos so that I had quite a few to work with and then narrowed down to my final four. To make my photo collage I uploaded the photos to PicMonkey and edited them online.

I decided to turn the photos to black and white as the colour ones were not very good quality. On PicMonkey I adjusted the size to 7×5 inches so when they were printed it was a standard card size. I took the finished photo into a printers and asked for the image to be printed on to 7×5 greeting cards and they even supplied the envelopes. Here’s how our personalised Christmas cards turned out!
