It only takes two ingredients to make this delish sweet and salty peanut brittle! Your dentist probably wouldn’t be to happy if you ate it everyday but its nice to make as a little treat every now and then!
- 100 grams salted peanuts
- 100 grams castor sugar
Pour the sugar into the saucepan over a low heat and shake the pan as it starts to melt.
Wait until the sugar starts to clump together. Slowly it will start to turn into a caramel colour. Once it gets dark and shimmery add in your peanuts.
Next pour the lot onto a tray lined with greaseproof paper and flatten it out. Leave alone and out of reach while it cools.
Once cold it will have set as hard as rock. Break into pieces with your hands and eat on its own or with ice cream!
